Terms and Conditions
Each Harris Tweed bear is made to order normally within 2 to 3 weeks from payment received and costs start from £45 depending on the size of the bear plus 1st class recorded delivery postage within the UK. For overseas orders please email me first for timescale and cost of postage.
If you would like to supply your own fabric then please contact me first to ensure the fabric's suitability. Good quality cotton, denim, sweatshirt, and wool are good examples of what can be used. Prices depend on size and number of items being created.
The last date for orders to be guaranteed to be dispatched in time for Christmas 2021 is 15th November. Any orders placed after this date I can't guarantee dispatch in time for Christmas. Please note that orders are posted according to Royal Mail delivery guidelines, therefore please allow enough time for your order to get to you in time.
If there are a large number of orders, or in exceptional circumstances such as holidays or illness, then my order books may temporarily close to ensure I continue to create high quality products. However still feel free to contact me regarding any bespoke queries.
Any changes to the lead times above will be advised before the order is finalised.
Payment will be requested through PayPal and can be paid with or without a PayPal account using a debit or credit card.
Orders will not be finalised until full payment is received. Once finalised, your order will be started and any payment received is non-refundable due to the bespoke nature of the order. A 30% non-refundable deposit may be asked for to cover the cost of ordering in specific fabric. If, for any reason I have to cancel the order then a full refund will be given back to the payment method used within 3 to 5 working days of the cancellation.
Please allow 1 to 5 working days for delivery of your order from dispatch, and allow extra time during busy periods, especially over the festive period. All orders are sent 1st class recorded delivery through Royal Mail and the Post Office, and the tracking number will be emailed to you upon dispatch. All orders will require a signature on delivery.
These items are bespoke and made to order, therefore they are non returnable unless faulty or damaged in transit (photographic proof of unopened, damaged package must be shown). Items must be returned by tracked delivery within 28 days of delivery before a replacement or refund can be given.
Royal Mail and The Post Office do not count a package as lost until after 15 days. If an order is lost then no replacement or refund can be given until after this time. All orders are sent 1st class recorded delivery and the tracking number will be emailed to you upon dispatch.
